GK Elite (based in Pennsylvania) had the opportunity to have their leotards represented in the Olympic Games for the second time ever (first time was in Tokyo 2020). GK has always manufactured many of the athlete's competition leos, however, they were always branded with other company logos on them.
GK designed 7 leotards for every athlete for each performance
1. qualification
2. team final
3. all-around
4. beam final
5. floor exercise final
6. vault final, and
7. uneven bars final
GK Elite claimed that "each leotard has 6,359 crystals [...] and if sold in stores [it] would retail for around $3,000...". Can you imagine?
Let's cheer on Team USA as they finish their Qualifications and Team Finals today in their gorgeous leos! Go Team USA.
